Remeber this? How to Regulate Sleep to be More Alert
In a word (or several). Not very good.
It didn’t have the desired effect or at least something like what I was hoping for.
To recap. For one month I got up everyday at 6am (even weekends) and when I was tired in the evening I went to bed. Whatever the time. This….. In theory would eventually make me more alert and stop me from becoming tired throughout the day. In effect my sleep patterns would be regulated. Sadly this did not happen and I felt a lot better just letting myself wake (or be woken) and then just rolling out of bed in my own time. Sounds lazier but left me feeling better for it. I still think it is a good feeling to be up and about early…. Just not in such a regimented fashion!
Conclusion…. Rubbish
I now go to bed whenever and get up when I need to. Just like I used to. Ahhh that’s better.
